Forever my First Lady, Michelle Obama, wrote a memoir titled "Becoming" that has hit bookshelves today. You can read her words tonight and see her make an appearance on ABC's Jimmy Kimmel Live on Thursday night.
According to Eurweb.com, Jimmy Kimmel isn't the only one getting to sit and chat with Mrs. Obama. Recently, Oprah had a deep conversation with Michelle about her life experiences as well her time working as an attorney and motherhood. The talk between these larger-than-life women is scheduled to air across multiple platforms on Oprah's OWN network on Thursday at 8pm. Oprah also gives the world an unedited and extended version, available on her SuperSoul Conversations podcast on the same day. If you need a bit more than that, you can catch Part II on November 19th. OprahMag.com will post a special excerpt from the memoir to honor and celebrate its release.
Along with her scheduled TV appearances, Michelle is also going to talk to the people during her 10-City book tour. On each stop she will be interviewed by special guests such as Valerie Jarratt, Tracee Ellis Ross and Reese Witherspoon.
The tour will begin in Mrs. Obama's hometown of Chicago, before moving on to Los Angeles, Washington, Boston, Philadelphia, New York, Detroit, Denver, San Francisco and Dallas. Ten percent of tickets at each event are being donated to local charities, schools and community groups.
