Hulu Set To Produce A Scripted Drama About The Wu-Tang Clan

The series comes from the mind of Alex Tse. He is credited as the writer for the 10 episode series. The members of Wu-Tang are down with production. Method Man is one of the executive producers. While. Ghostface Killa, Inspectah Deck, Masta Killa and GZA are on board as consulting producers.

The names of some actors that have been casted for the show are released. A veteran and hysterical actor on the show is Erica Alexander known for her role as Max from 'Living Single'. Shameik Moore known for his roles in 'The Breakdown' and 'Dope' is a part of the series. There is also Ashton Sanders from Oscar winning film 'Moonlight', Siddiq Sanderson who acted in 'Mother's Milk', Marcus Callender he played Ray-Ray and shot Raina in Power, and new comer Zolee Griggs.

According to ShadowandAct the show is described as:

Set in early '90s New York at the height of the crack cocaine epidemic, the show tracks the Clan's formation, a vision of Bobby Diggs aka The RZA, who strives to unite a dozen young, Black men that are torn between music and crime but eventually rise to become the unlikeliest of American success stories.

There's isn't any announcement on when the series will come out. Hulu is becoming a go to for Black nostalgia. First 'Living Single' streams on their platform now they're giving us a Wu-Tang biodramedy.
