Don Cheadle & Regina Hall Lead in Showtime's "Black Monday"

Don Cheadle's back on Showtime! Don's most recent show on Showtime, House of Lies, ran from 2012 - 2016 with mixed reviews. From portraying "Ice Tray" in Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air to the no-nonsense undercover cop in Brooklyn's Finest (a slightly underrated movie in my opinion) to Tony Stark's best friend in the Iron Man franchise, I was re-intrigued to see Cheadle in a comedic role.

Two reasons why I'll be watching:

1) The great Regina Hall is in it. I LOVE HER! She's excellent, and I wish she got more shine.

2) The show looks batshit crazy-- in a good way! It looks like A Black "Wolf Of Wall Street"!

3) Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg are producing it!

(Via Collider):

BLACK MONDAY takes viewers back to October 19, 1987 – aka Black Monday, the worst stock market crash in the history of Wall Street. To this day, no one knows who caused it … until now. It’s the story of how a group of outsiders took on the blue-blood, old-boys club of Wall Street and ended up crashing the world’s largest financial system, a Lamborghini limousine and the glass ceiling.

Black Monday premieres Sunday, January 20 at 10 pm ET/PT.

Starring Don Cheadle, Andrew Rannells and Regina Hall.

Music: Uproar by Lil Wayne.
